Motion Control – Long Traver Linear Stages


Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control – A series of long travel, low cost, low profile, motorized, profile rail positioning stages are now available from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES). The AQ140 Series of linear stages are available off-the-shelf in travel lengths of: 600 mm, 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, and 1000 mm.
These high precision stages can be ordered with a Two-Phase Stepper Motor (pictured) which feature resolutions of 2 micron and 1.25 micron (achieved with a 10 or 20 micro-steps per step stepper motor driver), and up to 80 mm per sec of travel.
Other options are a Three-Phase Brushless Servo Motor or a DC Servo Motor each with a Quadrature Incremental Optical Encoder for higher resolutions and speeds. A Stepper Motor driven model with a Quadrature Incremental Optical Encoder for position verification is also available
All stages have a 160 x160 mm table with a precision pattern of threaded holes for mounting tooling and a 4mm per turn, precision 2microns backlash lead screw. Black anodized aluminum construction, these stages can handle loads to 30 kg. These light, low profile stages can also be ordered in an XY configuration. Additionally, an optional brake is available. These compact linear stages are easily integrated into new and existing systems and are available as complete Plug-and-Play Systems with a fully compatible multi-axis controller.
