Built to order, a user can select from any combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for both the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws, and if required travel lengths over 100 mm are also available. Additionally, one of two goniometers with +/-10 degrees or +/-15, degrees of travel can be selected and mounted in a horizontal (pictured) or vertical orientation.

They are offered in 5 travel lengths for each axis, 50 mm (1.969 in.), 100 mm (3.937 in.), 150 mm (5.906 in.), 200 mm (7.874 in.), and 300 mm (11.811 in.). Any combination of lengths, motors, and lead screws are available.

The two-phase stepper motors are standard with a knob for manual adjustment. The knob can be replaced with an incremental quadrature encoder for position verification.

Linear Motion Actuator – Voice Coil Motors!

Van Nuys, CA – Linear Motion Actuator – The GVCM-095-064-01 Linear Servo Actuator from Moticont combines high precision and high force in an easily integrated package. This linear voice coil servo actuator, also called a moving coil motor, features: Zero cogging, high speed, high acceleration/deceleration, and high precision accuracy and repeatability when operated in a closed servo loop.

The precision ground 0.1572 +/- 0.0003 in. (3.993 +/- 0.008 mm) diameter shaft guided by a linear bearing in the extended position is 2.500 in. (63.5 mm) long. It can tolerate a side load to 2 lbs. (9.0 N), and has 1.500 inches (38.1 mm) of travel with a high-force-to-size ratio of 24.4 lbs. (108.6 N) of continuous force and 77.1 lbs. (343 N) of peak force at a 10% duty cycle. The shaft has a 4-40 UNC 2B x 0.38 deep thread for backlash free connection to a load.

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – The new Motion Control XGGR-50-10-15-60 Series of Four-axis Linear, Pitch, Roll, and Yaw Stages from OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) is the integration of a Linear-axis stage, two Goniometer Stages, and a Rotary Stage. The lower Linear axis stage has 50 mm of travel. The Pitch-axis is a +/- 10 degrees Goniometer, the Roll-axis is a +/- 15 degrees Goniometer, and the Yaw-axis (upper -axis) is a 60 mm diameter rotary stage capable of continuous rotation.
