Built to order, a user can select from any combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for both the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws, and if required travel lengths over 100 mm are also available. Additionally, one of two goniometers with +\/-10 degrees or +\/-15, degrees of travel can be selected and mounted in a horizontal (pictured) or vertical orientation.<!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">The motion control XZG-01 stage (pictured in the video) is driven by two-phase stepper motors with knobs for manual adjustments, whereas the XZG-04 stage has the knobs replaced with quadrature incremental optical encoders for position verification. The XZG-02 stage is driven by three-phase brushless servo motors with quadrature incremental optical encoders and the XZG-03 stage is driven by DC brushed servo motors with quadrature incremental optical encoders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">The X and Z-axes stages feature 0.5 micron resolution, and each of the goniometers (G-axis) stages features a resolution of 0.0007 degrees. Options -02 and -03 operated in a closed servo provide the highest resolution, accuracy, and travel speeds. These stages are ideal for: Laser scanning, machining and drilling, for use on an optical bench, alignment, mirror positioning, inspection, and testing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">Each axis is equipped with two limit switches to signal the motion controller for end-of-travel. The Goniometer axis has a calibrated scale for visual indication and precision pattern of threaded holes for mounting tooling or fixtures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">Any of these XZG motion control <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">Positioning Stages can be ordered plug-and-play with a fully compatible multi-axis motion controller from OES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,helvetica,arial; font-size: small;\">This stage requires a Motion Controller that can be ordered as a complete plug-and-play system with RS-232, USB, joystick, trackball, and keypad control.
