Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – Components -\u2013 Moticont’s VCDS-051-032-01 series of linear motion control voice coil stages features a voice coil motor, a ball bearing linear slide, home switch, and an integral optical quadrature encoder with differential outputs. Measuring 5.000 in (127.0 mm) long x 2.00 in. (50.8) wide x 2.875 in. (73.0 mm) high, the VCDS-051-089-01 series stages have a linear travel of 0.97 in. (24.6 mm); a continuous force of 6.3 lbs (28.2 N) and a peak force of 20.0 lbs (89.9 N) (at a 10% duty cycle). <\/span><\/p>\n

The high speed, high accuracy, and smooth of the motion control VCDS-051-032-01 series linear motion voice coil stages are found in manufacturing, medical, aerospace\/defense, and inspection applications such as: Measuring, optical and electrical inspection, assembly, packaging, semiconductor handling, scanning, sampling, and pick -and-place robotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Available in standard models with positioning resolutions of 1 micron, 12.7 microns, 25.4 microns, and 29.95 microns, and with convent mounting holes, this series of high performance stages is easily integrated in new and existing applications. Other resolutions, higher forces, and customized linear motion systems can be quickly engineered to meet a users individual requirement. Complete Plug-and-Play are also available.<\/span><\/p>\n
